The same rules apply as last year, where each member must race a minimum of 10 races throughout the year, with at least one race in each of the categories: Fell, XC, Harrogate District Summer Race League(HDSRL), Short, Medium, Long. The best point total in each category, plus the four other best race results will count towards the overall total for each runner.
There will be totals for both Age Adjusted championships (age adjusted handicap applied) and First Past the Post (fastest runner wins) to allow a competitive and inclusive race season.
Members will automatically be included in any club championships as long as they are:
full members (paid annual fee),
list T&S Harriers on any entry forms, and
wear the club vest/t-shirt during the race!
The calendar features a number of new races for this year (as suggested by the club members), 9 free or heavily subsidised races, 3 virtual events (at members request) and some old favourites.
We hope this helps to keep things accessible, fresh, exciting and poses some new challenges for members whilst retaining the competitive edge that these events bring.
Please note that any events not featured this year may appear in future years, so do remember to vote for your favourite events!
Any events with “TBC” dates will be confirmed as soon as the information is available and is correct at the time of writing.
