On Saturday, several harriers completed the Osmotherley Show race, a 10k fell race which is part of the Esk Valley summer fell series.
This is a great route starting at the showground in Thimbleby, heading out through the Thimbleby Estate then out onto the Cleveland Way, passing the reservoirs and up to Black Hambleton. It’s a hard climb with over 1000 ft of ascent overall but after the trig point, runners are rewarded with a long technical downhill and then back across Thimbleby estate and into the showground.
Age category wins for quite a few. Official results including team results still pending.
