Dear Members

Membership of Peco cross country league

We are delighted that the club has been accepted into the Peco cross country league!

This is great news, opening additional opportunities for runners during the winter training season. Peco

xc league races tend to be one loop events, around 4-5 miles, with men and women running the same

course.

In our first year, we are eligible for individual prizes. Eligibility for team prizes will be reviewed next year,

considering how many club members attended.

To enter all 5 races and the relay event, it is just £17 for a season ticket which reduces to £10 after race 3

and to £7 after race 4. To encourage members to take part, the club will provide a £5 rebate to runners

who buy a full 5 race season ticket. Please send your confirmation of entry to the club secretary with

details of the bank account you paid it from to Natalie Lyth, at secretary@tasharriers.club

We have selected Roundhay Park race #5 on Feb 21st as part of our Championship for 2027. Members

who want to just run this race can buy their season ticket after 31st Jan for £7 (no club subsidy will

apply). This will allow you to run in the relay as well.

We will continue to support the NYSD XC league and hope that runners enjoy having the opportunity to

take part in a variety of events.

Review of Club Subsidies

The club has encouraged runners for many years to take part in different leagues and races, sometimes

with a subsidy to help with the cost of the events. To ensure we are using club funds in the most effective

way across the range of different events, the committee will be completing a review next year.
