Natalie and David Lyth took part in the Run Norwich 10K with 2 of their adult children Rich and Caz on Sunday.  Here’s their report…

This is a 10k road race with over 9000 participants, more than 8500 of whom come from Norfolk and Suffolk.  The race is organised by the Norwich City FC Community Sports Foundation and takes in iconic landmarks including Norwich Castle, The Forum, Norwich Cathedral and Carrow Road.  Despite Norfolk being known as a very flat county the course included 3 hills and takes in the main landmarks in Norwich. There were people supporting along the whole length of the route and lots of different musical groups performing at regular intervals creating a fantastic atmosphere. This was the first time Natalie has managed a sub 1 hour in a 10k (0:59:52) and David was close behind at 01:03:17.

Well done both!
