A thankyou, as ever, to John Flintoff, for his support, and to the cricket club for putting on a superb barbecue, much enjoyed by all, and rounding off a very sociable evening.
Park runners were out, as usual, at Fountains Abbey, Millfield, Northallerton and Albert Park, and special mention to Gary Wilkinson who won the Hackworth event, 1st out of 66 in 19.50.  Further afield, Rob and Christine Burn were at Mijmegen, Holland, in 30 degree heat over a 2 lap course with a big hill each time!  Rob took 23.30, beating the M70 record for the event by 4 minutes, and Christine took 34.12.
